Mike Zamiara
Chief Executive Officer
Mike brings more than 30 years of leadership experience across regulated industries including pharmaceuticals, medical devices, manufacturing, and finance.
Mike previously served as Niowave’s Chief Financial Officer, helping guide the company’s strategic growth and commercialization efforts. Earlier in his career, he served as Chief Operating Officer at Emergent BioSolutions and Chief Executive Officer of Orchid Orthopedics, a Michigan-based medical device contract manufacturer. He also founded a medical device consulting business focused on helping middle-market companies grow through commercialization, operational strategy, and acquisitions.
Mike began his career as a CPA with Plante Moran and has built a strong track record of leading organizations through growth, operational expansion, and strategic transformation. He is focused on positioning Niowave for long-term success while advancing the company’s efforts to produce medical isotopes for cancer treatments.
Dr. Terry Grimm
Chief Science Officer
Terry founded Niowave in 2005 to commercialize superconducting linear accelerator technology. A recognized leader in accelerator physics and superconductivity, Terry has supported the company’s growth from a research organization into a leading developer of superconducting electron accelerators supporting applications in healthcare.
Prior to founding Niowave, Terry spent 13 years at Michigan State University’s National Superconducting Cyclotron Laboratory as a Senior Physicist and Adjunct Professor. His work on the Rare Isotope Accelerator helped lay the foundation for the Facility for Rare Isotope Beams project. Earlier in his career, he worked as a Physicist at the Department of Energy’s Superconducting Super Collider Laboratory. He has dedicated his career to advancing superconducting accelerator technology and expanding its applications for the production of radioisotopes.
Jenevra Foley
Chief People Officer
Jenevra has a diverse leadership background spanning military operations, healthcare, organizational development, and change management.
Throughout her career, Jenevra has held leadership roles in the U.S. Navy and in the healthcare industry, where she has built and led high-performing teams focused on operational structure, quality improvement, and patient outcomes. She has also led initiatives supporting electronic health record development, workforce transition, and organizational change management while helping organizations navigate periods of growth and transformation.
She is passionate about building strong organizational cultures, developing people-centered strategies, and supporting teams through change and growth.
Matt Burba
President & Chief Commercial Officer
Matt has more than 25 years of experience in medical devices, manufacturing operations, and commercial strategy within highly regulated industries.
He spent nearly two decades at Orchid Orthopedic Solutions, where he held leadership roles across operations, manufacturing, and commercial management. Throughout his career, he has led large-scale manufacturing organizations, supported commercialization and customer partnerships, and driven operational growth.
Matt also served as a Captain in the United States Air Force, where he worked as a satellite engineer supporting both acquisition and operational launch programs. The experience developed through his military experience has shaped the leadership approach and operational discipline he brings to Niowave today.
Adam Havey
Chief Operating Officer
Adam has more than 25 years of experience across pharmaceutical strategy, operations, and product development, with a strong focus on building and scaling businesses in highly regulated markets.
Prior to joining Niowave, Adam spent two decades at Emergent BioSolutions, where he most recently served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. In this role, he led the company’s Vaccines, Therapeutics, and Devices business units alongside core functions spanning commercial operations, federal public health, international sales, and quality.
His experience is centered on driving business growth through strategic transactions, product licensing, and portfolio expansion, including leading and supporting acquisitions that strengthened and diversified the company’s product portfolio. In parallel, he has built the operational and quality infrastructure required to scale products from development through commercial supply—ensuring reliability, compliance, and execution in complex environments.
Adam began his career at Eli Lilly & Company in product development and technology licensing. He holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Michigan State University.
Dino Muzzin
Vice President of Engineering & Facilities
Dino has extensive experience leading manufacturing operations, engineering organizations, and global operational strategy within highly regulated industries.
Prior to Niowave, Dino spent nearly 20 years at Emergent BioSolutions, where he most recently served as Senior Vice President of Manufacturing Operations. In this role, he oversaw several cGMP manufacturing facilities across North America and Europe and led global functions including Engineering, Supply Chain, Environmental Health and Safety, Operational Excellence, and Manufacturing Strategy. He has a strong track record of scaling manufacturing operations and driving operational excellence across complex organizations.
